Machinery installations

The machinery installation workshop is in charge of maintaining the functioning of the port drinking water installation system and water supply installations for fire safety. Moreover, it manages the central heating systems (11 boiler rooms) and partly the air conditioning systems.

Discovery of water losses
The company has a decade of experience in discovery and elimination of water losses, having achieved results within the company as well as with other customers in the form of successful rehabilitations. The company has many years' experience in the implementation and maintenance of external water supply networks from polyethylene and employs welding experts for the assembly of the appropriate pipes.

Annually, the company discovers and eliminates approximately 30 leaks in the port's water supply network.

In this way more than SIT 10 million is saved per year on account of lower water costs. 
We have set up a computer supervision system for monitoring the use of drinking water by the organisational unit of Luka Koper, d.d. Currently, the system is comprised of 11 flow meters enabling remote status transfer.
